Louis Chenevert and his Significant Business Accomplishments

Louis Chenevert is a Canadian businessman who is most known for his former position at the giant United Technologies Corporation (UTC). Louis Chenevert was working at the posts of chief executive officer and Chairman of the company.

In 2006, Louis Chenevert was elected to the leadership of United Technologies Corporation. Louis Chenevert brought new growth to the enterprise. Stakeholders and costumers increased during his tenure.

Over the course of the postwar ear in the United States, the sector of manufacture is often described as a constant decline. That is due in large part to the significant drop in the contributions of the industry to the GDP as the number decreased by 50%. Companies such as Zenith, and Baldwin Locomotives used to thrive, but during those times they fell in ruins.

At the same time, some businesses were still able to make it through and even thrive. One of the companies was United Technologies Corporation. The company is worth $63 billion, and it is based in the Connecticut city of Hartford. The company is recognized for the fact that it managed to persevere without leaving its headquarters town, paying an unfair wage to its employees, and without going against environmental compliance.

United Technologies Corporation worked on the assembly of many of some of the most sophisticated jet engine, and it also had commercial and military clients in the states. United Technologies Corporation was also responsible for the world’s largest manufacturer of Otis escalators and elevators. The company of UTC is still a leader in helicopter manufacture in the United States of America.

Louis Chenevert has had decades of experience in the business. He has occupied positions in leadership in a few companies prior is tenure at United Technologies Corporation. Louis Chenevert received his higher education from HEC MontrĂ©al which is affiliated with the Business School of the University of MontrĂ©al. Louis Chenevert achieved a bachelor’s degree in Production Management, and then he moved on to establish his career.

In 2011, Louis Chenevert was recognized for his significant contributions to the industry of aviation. The magazine Aviation Week & Space Technology named him Person of the Year.
